The Palatine

In ancient Rome, the Palatine was the greatest of The Seven Hills. The city of Rome was founded upon it and later, the emperors themselves built their stately homes upon it. Now, I invoke the ancient name to designate the place where I post silly videos and even sillier pictures! Huzzah!

agentfury: Character concept art by Andy Park for the Avengers movie. My favorite character from the newest interconnected Marvel “Avenger” films is hands down, Agent Coulson. Why? Because he is awesome. He is human (as far as we know) has no identifiable super powers and yet when Stane started tearing the joint up in his Iron Man armor, Coulson couldn’t have been cooler. He threatens super-powered billionaires and gods alike. In short, Agent Coulson just doesn’t care, he has a job and he WILL get it done. You go Agent Coulson, here’s to many more movies featuring your particular brand of understated awesome.
