What's wrong with a female Watson?
Has everyone already forgotten about one of the best incarnations of Watson ever; Alexandra Eames from LOCI? Alex was a great take on Watson and one of my favorite characters ever. She was often portrayed as the tougher of the two and she was absolutely the better shot.
